Betting Strategy

Racing selections are advised with a recommended stake. The higher the stake, the more confident we feel about the chances of that selection.

Staking

Stakes are based on a scale of 1 to 10 points.

A selection with a recommended 10 point stake would be considered a very confident one, one with 5 points less so and one with a 1 point stake much less so.

It is suggested that once clients have decided on what their points stake represents (ie 1 point = £1 or £5 or £10, etc) they keep strictly to this scale until their racing bank doubles.

Racing Bank

A racing bank is a sum of money set aside only for the purpose of betting.

Ideally, the maximum daily bet should not be more than 1/20th of your racing bank. So, with a bank of £400 (an ideal starting point) a first daily bet would not exceed £20. On this scale, 1 point = £2, and this scale should be used until the racing bank doubles to £800. Thereafter, a scale of 1 point = £4 or £5 can be used.
